Teen Love Poems

I hope you enjoy these teen love poems. The first describes a first kiss. Feel free to share it with your boyfriend or girlfriend. I'm sure they will enjoy it. Unless they think it's geeky, but don't worry, us geeks run this world (lol). Have fun!

First Kiss

Do you remember the day our lips met,
Blinking vanished, intentions were set.
Tender smiles, fueled the blush,
It all began, with an innocent crush.

Friendship evolved, into something much more,
I dreamt of the moment, our lips will explore.
Never before this type of embrace,
Fingers entwined, with comfort and grace.

The blush disappeared, as our lips finally connected,
Both hearts raced, just as expected.
It was truly a beautiful first kiss,
That moment in time was - Infinite bliss

So what do you think? did you like it? Hopefully it's ok, I haven't been a teenager in over a decade so I'm a bit rusty. The next poem is called "Chance Love" and talks about randomly meeting and falling in love.

Chance Love

I never knew love could be so sweet,
Until we met, on that busy street.
As I stared into your gorgeous eyes,
Suddenly, my heart rate began to rise.

Your first words, were a simple hello,
There was something about you, a certain glow.
Laws of attraction appeared in the air,
By our facial expressions, we both were aware.

A few special moments, and our love has evolved,
All those lonely nights, have been instantly solved.
I would like to thank, our friend Mr. Chance,
For guiding the way, to a beautiful dance.

I hear it all the time. People meeting by chance somewhere and falling in love, it happens all the time. You could meet someone in the grocery store at the bank or while in traffic, you never know.

Are you looking for something a bit more sentimental? If that's the case, you should check out this teenage love poem.

I think these teen love poems are perfect if you want to ask someone out. It all depends how close you are with that person. If you have been friends for a long time, I would leave it the way it is.

However, if you just met the guy or girl recently, than I would probably change the word "love" in the first stanza to something that might not scare them away, such as - "crush".

I Wanna Say

On those days that I feel alone,
I think of you, and pick up the phone.
Just wanna let you know how I feel,
The love for you, I don’t want to conceal.

Sometimes it’s difficult to express,
Those things I do, to impress.
Afraid you won’t like me in that way,
I’m looking for the words, I want to say.

I know I have to take a chance,
Cuz I want you in my dance.
Just wanna say that you’re the bomb,
No matter what, you’re always calm.

So what did you think? I hope you enjoy it and share it with someone you like a lot. There are more teen love poems on this site, so you should check them out. Some of them were co-written by my teenage cousin Carla, she definitely has a better perspective on the issue than I do. Since I haven't been a teenager in over 10 years.

Welcome to the teen love poems written by teens section. I am proud to say that the first poem was written by my wonderful cousin Carla. I think she's really talented. She also added a little twist to it. The poem has three possible endings. You may choose which last line you prefer. Enjoy.

Shoe, Boo, or Clue?

You are truly super sweet,
That first kiss let’s repeat.
From the start I fell for you,
Even though, you’re older too.
You are sexy and very hot,
In my mind you are caught.
This is more than just a crush,
You may think my face is blush,
But it’s actually a real flu,

Option 1: It’s called love and you’re the clue

Option 2: I’m in love and you’re my Boo

Option 3: I’m in love and you’re my shoe

Wow, that was pretty good. Congrats Carla. It was funny and she still got her message across. So which option did you choose? I really like option 3. Because you confuses people. Is she talking about a guy? or is she talking about shoes? That's for you to decide.

I have read some more of Carla's poetry and I think it is really good. But I remember, she always had a passion for literature and especially creative writing. When she was younger, she would always come up to me and ask me to read the stories that she wrote on the fly. These stories were quite lenthy and I believe she was only about 8 or so. When I look back, she reminded me a lot of myself when I was her age.
