A Poem For Paula Abdul - From All Her Fans
I wrote this poem for Paula because she is a wonderful lady. We all know that she is a very thoughtful, caring, and compassionate individual. We learned a lot about her when she was a judge on American Idol. We fell in love with her humanity and her sympathetic heart.
Singer, Producer, Actress, and Dancer,
If you need choreographing, she is the answer.
Began as a cheerleader, for the Lakers team,
Work ethics from parents, she followed her dream.
Inspired by Gene Kelly, Singin'in the Rain,
Since she was a child, she loved to entertain.
She was always a natural in the art of dance,
On American Idol, she gave many a chance.
A thoughtful lady, who is always caring,
Amazing style, look what she's wearing!
Has a huge heart, also a dog lover,
Helps the blind live life and truly discover.
A sympathetic and compassionate judge,
Who constantly gave Simon a nudge.
She will always find the positive in every soul,
We love her dearly, our hearts she has stole.

Paula has taught us a lot. She is a natural performer and the passion she infuses into her work is truly refreshing. She is a role model for countless young and old out there. She is living proof that if you pursue your dreams with dedication and childish enthusiasm, anything is possible.
I wanted to write this simple poem as a small way of saying "Thank You Paula" from all your fans. Thank you for everything you have done. For inspiring us. For entertaining us. For making us both laugh and cry within the same hour.
