Personally, I think the best warning that we may receive is from our own experiences. We need to live through it, in order to expect it, and not be shocked by it. But the problem is, no matter how much experience one may have, the losing love is always shocking. That's because love blinds us with hope and dreams and throws common sense and logic out the window. But I think, that's ok. Because that's the beauty of love. It's magical (while it lasts), and I hope you find lasting and rewarding love in your life.
Love Talk
They all told us that love is sweet,
A feeling, that you cannot beat.
But what about, when love is lost,
Nobody talks about the frost.
Love can hurt, they do not mention,
They just say, it’s a great invention.
Even though, it can easily break,
All it needs, is a little shake.
Then they say, to maintain hope,
As you’re staring, down the slope.
When will all this pain just end,
At this moment, I need a friend.

None of us ever want to get hurt. Getting your heart broken hurts a great deal. Many will agree that this type of emotional pain is much more worse than physical pain. I agree with that, because you cannot just take a few pills and feel better, this pain originates deep inside and the only pill that works is time. But while the pain is there, we cannot do anything about it, we just have to accept it. I guess it's just one of those difficult things that life throws at us sometimes.
Lost Love To Return Love
Stone by stone I will try rebuild my life,
A lost love hitting like a tidal wave.
I don’t know where I stand,
I don’t know what you want from me,
Or if you care at all.
Your words hitting like a rock wall,
A love with such strong desire,
Thrown away, like it was worth nothing.
I still hear her footsteps,
As they leave the door,
I hear her voice, I hear her goodbye ,
I ask her to not go too far from me,
But my arms reach out into air,
I fall to my knees, and wonder how to stand.
Step by step, I try to rebuild,
Laying in bed for weeks ,
moaning over a lost love.
But the heart feels burned,
Drowning in tears,
How can you move on from a love so strong.
You return, acting like nothing went wrong,
I’m still hurting, but I want you back,
I’m full of fear it happening again.
Weeks pass and I pull you into my arms,
And hold you tight, listening as your heart beat rises,
Hoping forever together we will be.
A strong desire that will never let up,
A promise to each other for all eternity,
Now and forever my love.,
The only thing is. Will you be mine? ,
