Love and Sad Poems

The love and sad poems on these pages are different in many ways. However they do have one thing in common. They talk about some type of loss of a love in ones life. We all go through it, and the truth is, it's painful. That's where the motivation for the first sad love poem came from - the pain that love may cause (or the loss of it).

Some people are not as lucky as others, and experience this pain more often than others. But what if we look at it from a different perspective for a moment. If someone experiences many broken hearts and failed relationships throughout their lives. Doesn't that also mean that this person has experienced love many times over aswell.

Blind Pain

Why does love cause so much pain,
If there’s a soul, mine is slain.
Is misery truly, my best friend,
She’s always here, when love is end.

Why does love cause so much pain,
Does my heart, deserve this strain
When love is gone, day turns to night,
Sadness rules, over delight.

Why does love cause so much pain,
How to stop it, please explain
If the answer is in my mind,
Then love has made me, truly blind.

I think it's better to always search for new love when love does not work out. Even if this means the loss of love will be more frequent and result in pain. In my opinion this is better than avoiding love because of fear of the pain that loss of love may cause.

I think prolonged loneliness is far worse and painful than a broken heart filled with pain from losing a love. Because losing a love is pain that used to be joy when that love was strong fruitful. While loneliness never had a upside in it's career.

The love and sad poems throughout these pages were written for you. I hope these poems help you express your feelings and let your emotions out. The poem below talks about being confused and sacred.

Search Inside

Remembering the passion, that we shared,
But now it’s gone, and I am scared.
Overwhelming seems this loss,
If just hiding, there’s no more gloss.

Where do we go from here,
Right or left, nothing’s clear.
What is it that we truly feel,
Is there room for appeal?

Our love, who will save,
The past may hold us, as a slave.
But we must search, deep inside,
And find out, if our love has died.

Most relationships have their ups and downs. This is normal. I personally think that many relationships do not work out because of the lack of communication. Many issues could be fixed if couples would just talk it over. And I'm not talking about shouting back and forth and blaming one another. I'm talking about sitting down, and trying to figure things out logically and with an open mind. Because if two people love each other, I'm sure they are capable of working on their weaknesses and so forth.

Often times, other issues get into the core of a relationship and cause it to crack. These may be financial, lack of time, work, etc. I think, sometimes, we just all need to take a step back, and figure out what is really important in our lives and relationship with our significant other. Often times, little things like spending alone time once a week, may save and strengthen a relationship.
