Maybe I should have placed that one in the funny love poems section. But it still talks about friendship, so I might as well leave it here.

Often times friendship that leads to love encounters many riddles and interesting scenarios along the way. Little hints are left and flirting becomes a common occurrence in the friendship. It gets to the point where just friendship is no longer enough.

When a person gets to that emotional point, they are willing to risk the friendship in order to find out whether there is romantic potential. Sometimes this bold action results in success, while other times it doesn't. Personally, I think we just need to follow our hearts or our gut feeling. Because there is something worse than being rejected romantically by a friend, and that is asking the question, "what if?".

So if you are in a situation where your heart is yearning for a romantic relationship with a friend, you need to take the chance and ask this friend whether they are interested. If you think about it, isn't that what happens sometimes between close friends. Sparks ignite and next thing you know they are in love. I am sure that often times it doesn't happen that way. Love evolves slowly over time. But that doesn't mean it can't happen all of a sudden, like a bolt of lightning.
