My dearest friend, you are my hope,
Whenever I fall, you throw me the rope.
Your honesty, I truly admire,
Our intimacy, is filled with desire.
You are definitely, more than a friend,
Our precious love, I shall always defend.
I’m really fond, of our mutual respect,
Enjoy those days, when we simply reflect.
Sometimes our road is a little adverse,
We get through it, because we converse.
Our love is a truly delicious flavor,
This is the reason, we enjoy it and savor.

Sometimes couples fall in love first and the friendship develops over time afterwards. while other times, they develop a close friendship and love follows. There is no right or wrong when looking at these two scenarios. The experts say that more relationships survive when friendship comes first. But I'm not the type that will dwell over the stats when we are talking about love.
Will you marry me?
As these words grow indefinable,
You've taught me the way of life,
My love grows indescribable,
And you showed me I can make a sacrifice.
You're the one that made my day,
You loved me from the heart,
With the smile that lightened my way,
But that showed me that we will never be apart.
Knowing that you're the one,
You show her the white dress,
You tell her, we'll get married in the sun,
She's required to say yes.
The two words everyone loves to hear,
They've been said to me loud and clear.

I think that as long as a strong friendship evolves at some point in the relationship, than that's all that matters. So it's not about when you build that foundation. But rather, just building it at some point in time. Preferably sooner than later, so that you may receive the rewards that come along with an intimate love relationship and a close friendship.
