Short Love Poems for Her

  • January 18, 2011 at 1:54 pm

Are you looking for some short love poems for her? (especially since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner).

Here’s a short and sweet one that you are free to share with that special lady in your life.

I wish to express how I currently feel,
This moment in time, is truly ideal.
So much joy you always create,
All the way back, since our very first date.
My love for you has grown ever since,
If this is a dream, than I am your prince.
There is a promise, I shall forever keep,
That my love for you will always be deep!

Now, if you want to be spontaneous than you shouldn’t wait till Valentine’s Day. Give her the above love poem right now. She won’t expect it. But she will love it. Tell her how much you love her every single day, and that you don’t need a Valentine’s Day to express your love.

If you’d like you can always change the above poem up a little bit or customize it so that it’s a bit more personal. For example in the fifth line you can change it so that you include her name. You may write:

My love for (name) has grown ever since,
If this is a dream, than I am her prince.

It’s up to you whether you want to include her name in the short love poem above. But I think you should. I am sure that her heart will melt when she reads her name. She will know that this poem is just for her and that it’s not generic.

Well, not just sit there, print it out or write it out, or even text her the poem. Just don’t forget to share it with her and make sure that you plan something special. It doesn’t matter as much what you plan, as long as it looks like you put some effort into organizing and thinking of something romantic.

Good Luck!

A Poem for Stephanie Nielson

  • October 4, 2010 at 3:58 pm

Here’s a little poem that I wrote for a very courageous and inspirational lady and wonderful blogger, Stephanie Nielson.

Stephanie’s Journey

Every moment she celebrates life,
Amazing mom and a wonderful wife.
Her story and actions simply remind,
What really matters, on those days that we’re blind

She lives each day with physical pain,
Sometimes she feels the emotional drain.
Nicholas, Jimmy, Jane, and Claire,
Christian loves her, and always is there.

All of her courage, we truly admire,
With God by her side, she defeated the fire.
He challenged her and bestowed a divine role,
To preach his love, by sharing her soul.

5 Unique Ways to Share Love Poetry

  • August 9, 2010 at 12:34 pm

Once you have the love poem, you need to figure out how you will share it with the intended person. This depends on the relationship you have with the person. You probably won’t want to hide it inside your lingerie if the love poem is intended for your grandmother. At the same time, if it’s for your partner, try to be romantic and sexy. Try to be more creative than just handing it to the person. Let’s take a look at a few delivery options:

1. Hidden Inside Bouquet of Flowers -  This method will work for both platonic and romantic love poems. The idea here is to surprise the recipient. If the flowers were a surprise, than the poem will be even more so. Place the poem in a small envelope and make sure it is slightly visible. If it’s hidden to well, the recipient may not find it, unless you provide some hints.

2. Random Location – Choose a completely random location somewhere inside the recipients home. Stick to places where the person hangs out often or relaxes. Don’t place it in the attic, unless your loved one actually spends a lot of time there.

3. Via Email, Sms, or Social Networking Sites –  Using technology is one of the easier ways to share the love poem with the intended person. It is quick, easy, and effective. However it will difficult to fit the entire poem in just one Sms message. Be prepared to send a few. Using email is effective, as long as you send it to the email address that is most often used by the recipient. You may also let the entire world know how you feel by posting it on the persons Facebook wall.

4. Picnic Basket – Here is a more traditional approach that is super romantic. Reserve this method when sharing a love poem with your partner or date. Prepare a romantic picnic in the park and hide the poem inside picnic basket. You may place the poem underneath a specific item. During the picnic ask your partner to take this item out. Write something romantic on the envelope, such as “I Love You!”.

5. Inside Lingerie – This method should be self explanatory. If it’s not, than stick with the picnic basket.

Whichever method you choose is completely up to you, and depends what type of relationship you have with the intended recipient. If it’s for your grandmother – try to be cute. If it’s for your partner – focus on a sexy and romantic method.

Obama and Putin: A Love Poem

  • July 20, 2010 at 1:55 pm

Our first date began with ice cream and eggs,
I looked down, he had very strong legs.
I called him President as my tongue casually slipped,
When love’s in the air, who needs a script.

We dined on his terrace, it was a bit cold,
I could not get sick, my insurance I’ve sold.
Medvedev was our wonderful waiter,
He always listened to the little dictator.

He told me his sister Georgia, deserved a beating,
I closed my eyes, and continued eating.
I feel we should be using a missile shield,
He doesn’t like it – it makes him feel sealed.

We try to prevent, Iran’s nuclear erections,
We rule the brothel, we have the connections.
He’s so tough, pragmatic, and very smart,
I shed some oil, I did not wish to depart.

He whispered gently in my ear,
I was so excited, the solution was clear.
He told me he had faith in my name,
Gave me some matches – “solve the Gulf with a flame!”

New Design

First thing I would like to say is – Welcome!

I hope you had a chance to read some of my love poems. I wrote them so that you may share them with your loved ones. I must admit, I had a lot of fun writing them.

The old website design was quite bad. So I thought, I might as well try to make the site look more appealing to the eye. Now that the new design is done, I am a lot more proud of it, than I was with the old design.

Take a look at the old header that you see below, and let me know what you think. Compared to the new one, it’s like looking at night and day.

I did that using Paint. While the new one was done using Photoshop.

Which one do you like better?
